The following repairs were completed by the servicing CAT dealer;
At 6,171 hours, engine was replaced with NEW CAT drop-in complete engine & NEW pins and bushings installed in hard nose
At 7,716 hours, equalizer bar was REBUILT with NEW pins & bearings
At 7,816 hours, NEW track cannon bushings and seals were installed
At 8,364 hours, NEW NRS cooler was installed
Upon arrival to yard, machine was stripped of all belly pans and panels for power washing
Machine was completely power washed
Due to our work load, local CAT dealer was hired to perform the following:
CAT TA1 inspection
Cut open all filters to inspect for contaminates - clean
Serviced machine with new oils
Performed performance checks on unit
Checked all engine, torque, transmission & hydraulic pressures on machine
Checked all magnetic plugs - all clean
Checked magnet/suction screens - all clean except transmission, see below for repair
Updated ECM's to latest flash files
Serviced emissions system and performed testing
They then completed the following repairs from the inspection;
Installed NEW ARD head spark plug
Installed NEW ether valve and bottle
Changed all hydraulic lines around fan area
Changed hydraulic oil cooler lines
Changed hydraulic lines for skid pan cylinders
Marcel Equipment completed the following work:
Complete visual and operational inspections were done
Due to the plastic thrust washer pieces found in transmission screen, the left brake assembly was removed and disassembled
Installed NEW friction discs and resealed brake piston
Installed NEW speed sensors
Installed NEW steering motor sensor
Replaced required hoses within chassis
Resealed starter and mount
Installed NEW track cannon seals on both frames
Replaced all wipers and installed NEW washer pumps where needed
Installed NEW rad cap
Installed NEW transmission shaft lip seal
Installed NEW pins, bearings and bushings in blade where required
Line bored blade bores where required
Completed miscellaneous repairs as found on our inspection
Verified all switches in cab
Excellent tractor, ready to work.
