When unit arrived in yard, MEL had local CAT dealer complete the following:
CAT TA1 inspection
Change all oil filters & cut open all filters to inspect for contaminates - all clean
Service emission system
Remove DPF for us to send out for cleaning
Perform performance checks
Inspect magnetic plugs/screens & suction screens
Check oil levels
Inspect & repair any required fault codes
CAT dealer completed the following repairs based on inspection:
Drained & filled both final drives
Replaced leaking DEF supply line with updated part
Replaced broken charge hose P clamp
Replaced worn fan drive belt
Removed DPF, sent out for cleaning & re-installed with new clamps
Reset ASH monitor
Replaced DEF injector, DEF filter & ARD spark plug
Drained DEF that was reading poorly 29% on Refractometer & refilled tank
Completed engine valve set & replaced weeping valve cover seal
Repaired EGR intake pressure sensor out of calibration sensor fault
Cleaned port for sensor & replaced clogged sensor
Completed the following pressure checks to ensure within OEM spec;
Engine high & low idle
Engine oil high & low idle
High idle fuel
Full stall boost
Battery charging voltage
Pilot
Main relief
Heavy lift
Pilot accumulator
