Repair / Condition Report

Prior to purchase, Marcel Equipment Limited hired a local John Deere employed mechanic to inspect this unit as follows:

Engine, transmission and hydraulic filters were cut open and inspected for any contaminates and they were all clean.

A general overall visual inspection for any deficiencies or needed repairs.

A general overall operational inspection for any deficiencies or needed repairs.

- Inspected visually for engine blowby by removing the engine oil fill cap.

- Checked for wear in the front axle kingpins and tie-rod ends.

- Checking for any leaks and filings in the front planetaries.

- Checking for leaks on the rear differential inbetween the mating surfaces and checking for filings in the rear differential.

- Checking for leaks at the pivot on the chain drive case.

- Checking for bearing play at the chain drive case pivots.

- Checking for play in all cylinder joints.

- Checking for play in the articulation.

No issues were found on the above inspected items.  

Following are the repairs completed by Marcel Equipment Limited at 6150 hours:

Engine, transmission and hydraulic filters were cut open and inspected for any contaminates and they were all clean.

This machine has been completely serviced and thoroughly inspected.

Installed a NEW fan belt.

Installed a NEW fan belt idler pulley.

Replaced the right lower cab light.

Replaced the moldboard light.

Checked all grease points and greased unit.

Installed NEW batteries.

Installed a NEW door latch on the left side.

Installed a NEW master disconnect switch.

A NEW alternator was installed.

Checked the brake accumulator pressure and it was good.

Checked the cooling fan RPM and it was good.

Front axle king-pins and tie-rod ends are good.

Oils were clean in the front wheel planetaries and there were no leaks.

Oils were clean in the rear differential and no leaks on the rear differential between the mating surfaces.

No leaks or bearing play at the pivot on the chain drive case.

All cylinder mounting points are tight.

No play in the articulation joints.

Snow wing mounted and in good operational condition.

This is an exceptionally clean and well maintained ex-municipal unit.
