Repair / Condition Report

Engine, torque converter and transmission were REBUILT by our local Toromont CAT Reman facility following CATERPILLAR CERTIFIED REBUILD STANDARDS.

When the components were completed being rebuilt, Toromont Cat then installed the components into the chassis and completed commissioning and start-up of unit.

They completed all required testing to ensure Caterpillar standards were met. 

While the above components were being rebuilt, Marcel Equipment Limited reconditioned the following:

Stripped machine down to the frame.

Painted the frame inside and out.

Rebearinged and resealed the final drives.

REBUILT the steering and brake systems.

REBUILT all the hydraulic pumps and motors including:

- Implement pump

- Steering pump

- Fan pump

Resealed both blade lift cylinders.

Resealed the tilt cylinder.

Installed NEW mounting bearings in the lift cylinders.

Installed a NEW master switch and battery cables.

Cleaned all electrical junction blocks and grounds.

Installed a NEW main wiring harness.

Installed a NEW transmission harness.

Installed NEW bearings in the idler pulleys.

Installed a NEW belt tensioner.

Installed a NEW a/c compressor.

Installed a NEW exhaust wrap.

Alternator and starter were sent out for rebuilding.

All coolers and rad cores were sent out for testing and cleaning.

Installed all NEW hoses.

Installed all NEW Cat undercarriage including:

- Track chains

- Track shoes with trapezoidal holes

- Sprocket segments

- Rollers

- Waste arrangement idlers

- Track wear guides

Inspected all bottom roller bogies.

Installed NEW track cannon seals and bushings.

Resealed the track adjusters.

Installed NEW pivot shaft seals.

Installed NEW bearings and seals in the equalizer bar.

Installed NEW hardnose bushings and pins.

Installed NEW pivot shaft reservoir and hoses.

Reconditioned the cab.

Installed a NEW heater core and evaporator.

Reconditioned the HVAC and AC systems.

Installed a NEW receiver dryer, hoses and quick connects.

Reconditioned the blade assembly as needed.

Installed NEW pins and bushings in the blade mounting joints.

Linebored all the moldboard bores.

Completed all required cosmetic and welding repairs.

Completed all pressure tests including:

- Steering pressures

- Pilot pressures

- Implement pressures

- Torque inlet pressure

- Torque outlet pressure

- Flywheel lube pressure

- Transmission lube pressure

- Brake pressure

- Standby implement pressure

- Engine oil pressure

- Fan minimum pressure

- Fan maximum pressure

- Fuel pressure

- High idle fan speed

Completed full machine operational tests and pre-delivery inspection.

This unit has been sandblasted, primed, painted and detailed in our painting facilities.
