Repair / Condition Report

Upon purchase inspection, the following repairs and servicing were completed at 4532 hours:

Engine oil filter and oil was changed, filter was cut open and checked and it was clean.

Hydraulic filter was changed and filter was also cut open and checked and it was clean.

Both final drive oil levels were good and oils were clean and free of any contaminates.

Transmission filter was also changed and some steel contamination was detected in the filter so we REBUILT the transmission. The source of the steel particles in the filter were from a planetary carrier pin.

Transmission Rebuild:

All NEW OEM Caterpillar parts were used.

Installed NEW planetary shafts, pins and thrust washers.

Installed a NEW planetary carrier.

Dismantled complete transmission for proper inspection and cleaning.

Removed, checked and resealed the transmission pump using NEW bearings and seals.

Removed, checked and cleaned the transmission oil cooler.

Cleaned and resealed all of the powertrain hoses.

Following are test results taken by Marcel Equipment Limited's technician:

Main transmission pressure: 400 PSI at high idle - (Specs:400+-20)

Main transmission pressure: 375 PSI at low idle - (Specs: 375)

Torque converter inlet pressure: 75 PSI - (Specs: 75 PSI+-10)

Transmission lube pressure: 20 PSI - (Specs: 15+-5)

Brake pressure: 370 PSI - (Specs: 370+-20)

Oil transmission pressures were good.

Installed NEW batteries.

Resealed the right lift cylinder.

Installed all NEW belts.

Cleaned the pre-cleaner.

Installed NEW fuel and air filters.

Installed NEW wiper blades.

Installed a NEW wiper motor on the left door.

Cleaned the heater core.

Pressure washed the radiator.

Installed a NEW backup alarm.

Removed the hardbar and installed NEW end bearings and seals on the left and right sides.

Linebored the equalizer bar bores on the machine.

Installed a NEW pin, bearing and seals on the center of the equalizer bar.

Installed NEW bearings and seals at the ends of the equalizer bar.

Resealed the engine oil pan.

Inspected the engine oil pump.

Alternator was REBUILT.

Installed a NEW floor mat.

Blade assembly was dismantled. Pins and bearings were replaced as needed.

This unit is ready to go to work.
