Repair / Condition Report

At 13,496 hours, the Caterpillar dealer REBUILT the front and rear axles which included a NEW rear differential and rear differential housing - Over $80,000 was spent at that time.

Upon purchase inspection, Marcel Equipment Limited completed the following:

All covers and guards were removed and this machine was then powerwashed.

We cut open the engine oil filter to check for contaminates and it was clean.

Transmission and hydraulic filters were also clean.

We checked both differentials and planetary oils for any signs of wear or steel particles. They were clean.

We checked the center articulation and it was good.

We checked the rear axle oscillation and it was good.

Caterpillar dealer completed install of powertrain components into chassis.

Caterpillar dealer completed start-up/commissioning for this unit.

Caterpillar dealer calibrated the transmission.

Caterpillar dealer verified all transmission, torque converter and engine pressures.

Following are the repairs completed by Marcel Equipment Limited:

Serviced, repaired and REBUILT the main electrical panel and fuse holders.

Installed NEW alternator tensioner and belt.

Installed NEW heat shielding covers on the exhaust system.

Reconditioned and resealed the radiator and cooling assemblies.

Installed NEW coolant.

Serviced the parking brake assembly.

Resealed the blade lift cylinder.

Resealed both steering cylinders.

Installed NEW bearings and pins on the barrel ends in the steering cylinders.

Installed NEW bushings and pins on the front frame.

Linebored the blade pin bosses.

Installed NEW pins in the hydraulic fan swing out.

Installed NEW transmission mounts.

Installed NEW front and rear differential wear guards.

Replaced all suction line hoses.

Replaced all coolant lines.

Installed NEW fuel and hydraulic lines as required.

Installed a REBUILT reman starter and alternator.

Installed a reman pilot pump.

Installed a reman implement pump.

REBUILT the hydraulic steering pump with NEW bearings and seals.

REBUILT the fan pump with NEW bearings and seals.

Reconditioned the cab.

Tightened the steering control.

Removed and cleaned the evaporator and blower assembly.

Reconditioned the air conditioning system and installed a NEW dryer.

Installed a NEW treadle kit in the throttle pedal.

Installed a NEW front wiper motor.

Repaired miscellaneous switches in the cab.

Verified that all lights and switches are operational.

Serviced the batteries, load tested and cleaned the connections.

Verified the following pressures against Caterpillar specifications:

- Implement pressure

- Pilot pressure

- Steering pressures

- Steering standby pressures

- Brake pressures

- Fan speed

- Accumulator pressure

Completed other miscellaneous repairs as required.

This unit has been sandblasted, primed, painted and detailed in our painting facilities.
