Repair / Condition Report

Following are the repairs completed by Marcel Equipment Limited at 17840 hours:

All covers and guards were removed and machine was completely powerwashed, checked over and serviced.

NEW rear axle oscillation support was REBUILT using NEW bearings and seals.

We removed the engine oil filter, cut it open and it was clean.

We removed the transmission filter, cut it open and it was clean.

We removed the hydraulic filter, cut it open and it was also clean.

All the air and fuel filters were changed.

Changed all the oils.

Removed and resealed the rear axle assembly.

During inspection, it was determined that the engine had higher blowby than we were comfortable with, so we made the decision to REBUILD the engine.

In-frame Engine REBUILD was completed, details are as follows:

Cylinder head was REBUILT.  

6 NEW fuel injectors were installed.

6 NEW CAT piston and liner groups were installed.

All NEW standard CAT main, rod and thrust bearings were installed.

Removed and inspected the engine oil pump.

Checked the drive line including the u joints and drive shafts, etc.

One NEW drive shaft was installed.

Checked the fan hub bearings and they were good.

Checked the articulation and it was good.

Checked all grease points.

Repaired the window washer.

Installed NEW bearings on the blade lift cylinder yoke.

Installed NEW trunnions and caps on the blade mount.

Resealed the accumulator.

Installed a NEW air filter restriction indicator.

Removed and REBUILT the parking brake assembly.

Installed a NEW 24 volt to 12 volt converter.

The following pressures were taken:

Transmission pump - 425 PSI (Specs: 400+-17)

Steering pressure - 2460 PSI (Specs: 2500+-50)

Implement pressure - 2175 PSI (Specs: 2250+-50)

Pilot pressure - 360 PSI (Specs: 360)

Accumulators - 1000 PSI (Specs: 1000)

Engine oil pressure:

Low idle - 40 PSI - (Specs: Minimum 13 PSI)

High idle - 70 PSI - (Specs: Maximum - 87 PSI)

This unit was previously owned by Marcel Equipment Limited at 13,976 hours. At that time this unit was put through our complete reconditioning process including disassembling, inspecting and resealing the transmission, torque converter and transfer case as well as sandblasting and painting the machine. This unit has gone through our reconditioning process and is now ready to work.
