Repair / Condition Report

Upon purchase inspection, we completed the following:

All filters including engine, transmission and hydraulics were cut open and checked for any sign of contaminates. They were all clean.

All three differentials and the six wheel planetaries were all checked and were also clean.

Checked the engine, torque, transmission and hydraulic pressures to ensure they were within Caterpillar specifications.

Following are the repairs completed by Marcel Equipment Limited:

Verified operation of the automatic grease system and all grease points.

Installed NEW bearings in the rear axle stabilizer arm.

Installed NEW bearings in the center axle stabilizer arm.

Installed NEW bearings in the rear axle A frame.

Rebearinged the center hitch and lower front A frame.

Set the front suspension cylinder heights.

Installed a NEW cab fan due to noisy bearings.

Due to a fault in the low transfer case oil pressure we removed the oil pump for inspection and found a couple of chipped teeth from resultant damage.

We decided to remove and disassemble the transfer case for inspection and found some broken gear teeth.  

REBUILT the transfer case using NEW bearings and seals.

Installed 2 NEW gears.

Installed NEW clutch plates and discs.

Installed a NEW oil pump.

Cleaned and flushed the system.

Repaired the seat air suspension.

Set the pressure on the brake accumulators.

A NEW radio was installed.

Checked all cab switches for correct operation.

Serviced the batteries and battery connections.

Completed all other miscellaneous repairs as required.

This unit is now job ready.
